When choosing a carpet cleaner it is important to gather specific details about who you are inviting in to your home or place of business. 

BEFORE HIRING A CARPET CLEANER, ASK THESE QUESTIONS:

Q1. Are you insured and bonded?
ACC's Answer: We are both insured and bonded to fully protect our clients and their valuables.  If a company is uninsured and/or un-bonded it is a clear sign you may be leaving yourself open to problems.

Q2. What qualifications do you have?
ACC's Answer: We are certified by the IICRC, The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification.  The IICRC is the governing body of the cleaning and restoration industry.  If a cleaner is not IICRC certified he has not taken the dedication and time to become educated in his field.  If your carpet is new and a non-IICRC person cleans your carpet your manufacturer warranty automatically becomes void. 

Q3. Do you have any references?
ACC's Answer: We do not only have a few, we have an entire book of testimonials and references from previous clients.  A carpet cleaning company with no references, or the inability to provide references, should be a clear sign that they may not have a satisfactory record with their clients. 

Q4. What kind of equipment do you use?
ACC's Answer: We use only top of the line Hydramaster truck mounted hot water extractors.  Hot water extraction (steam cleaning) is the only recommended method from Shaw and Mohawk.  Together these two companies manufacture 2/3 of the carpet in the world.  There are over 150 carpet manufacturers.  Most likely the carpet in your home was manufactured by Shaw, Dupont, or Mohawk.  It is important to note that any company can tell you that their method is the best.  Methods of carpet cleaning vary and you should contact your manufacturer to see what they recommend.  Most carpet manufacturers recommend hot water extraction via a truck mount system.

Q5. Finally, what are your prices?

A quality company will charge by the exposed square foot.   This way, the consumer is receiving exactly what he or she pays for.  This is the way we charge and our clients definitely appreciate it.  We feel it is our duty to expose deceiving marketing tactics that are used locally and nation wide.  It is unfortunate that many unscrupulous companies trick their customers to get in to their home.  When a company uses these tactics it places a negative image on the industry as a whole.  We are here to place a positive image on the carpet cleaning and restoration industry.  We do this with courteousness, ethics, honesty, common sense, education, and a desire to please each and every client no matter what it takes.
